Background

As a subsidiary effect of building the NLPL infrastructure, the project plan also include training and outreach components, to increase knowledge of scientific computing techniques and available infrastructures among project participants and other Nordic researchers in NLP.

Winter School

In 2018 and 2019, NLPL organizes a winter school on machine learning and scientific computing techniques for Natural Language Processing. These events target doctoral and post-doctoral fellows and other research staff at Nordic NLP research centers. Participation is subsidized by the project.
